My novella, I Know Very Well How I Got My Name is a finalist in the 2013 LGBT Rainbow Awards in the category of LGBT Young Adult Novels. Winners are announced in December. I also entered it in the Lambda Literary Awards in the Transgender Fiction category. The shortlist will come out in March 2014.
